Bear is Sable’s brother, and like her, he came from an unwanted litter that no one could find homes for. At just 7 months old, he was surrendered to APL along with his siblings, trading what should have been a home for the uncertainty of shelter life.
He is still learning the world, still figuring out trust, routine, and what it means to feel safe. But instead of growing up with a family, he is growing up in a kennel. Bear has so much potential to become someone’s loyal companion. He just needs someone to give him the chance.

Help Heal a Houseful of Forgotten Dogs
12 dogs rescued from a severe hoarding and neglect case are now safe and beginning recovery in foster homes, slowly learning trust and receiving much-needed care. Many still require medical treatment, including surgeries and dental work, but are already showing encouraging signs of healing. Donations will help cover their ongoing care and give them the chance at healthy, loving homes.
